She loves bold colour and sees the world in vibrant contrasts. Her paintings hold a strong sense of rhythm and movement; her colour choices are fearless and playful.
She is not afraid to let her work shout with energy and emotion. Her art feels alive.
Alacoque was born in London in the 1950s and began painting at an early age, but did not pursue her talent until later in life. She holds two masters — one in Business Administration and one in Corporate Governance — a far cry from creative painting.
Before retiring from a successful business career, she took up painting again. She has painted for the last ten years and her works have sold in Ireland and overseas.
